Abstract

PT. Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON +) representative office for South Kalimantan is one of the telecommunication service providers engaged in fiber optic for internet services in South Kalimantan. In the implementation of street vendors, the writer was placed in the Activation Division in ICON +. The Activation Division is a division that installs internet services available by PT. Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON +). One of the services provided by PT. Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON +) is a broadband internet service. Activation begins with making a toplogi plan from the point of presence (PoP) to the customer side. Then perform the installation on the customer which includes a switch and access point. The results obtained by the author after carrying out activities at street vendors are that the writer can do topology design, configuration settings on routers and switches and the use of office applications such as Microsoft Excel which is more efficient.
