Abstract

Practical Work (KP) is an activity designed to create a work experience for students of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology who have studied for six semesters carried out independently. By implementing KP, students know how to get to know the world of work, learn to adapt themselves to complement the learning process they get in college. By doing real practice students are expected to be able to understand the relationship between theory, method, technique, and reality in the workplace. In addition, the experience of KP will also provide insight for students as a provision to work after completing their education. The location of the KP chosen by the author is PT. ICON+ Semarang. The author participates in completing assignments and work in places that have been previously selected. The author is given direction and training about changing the fortigate device which aims to make the change of the device itself in the store. The flow that includes the replacement of the fortigate device in the store and the installation of the main battery of the KP activities carried out by the author.
