Abstract

The Dude is an application created by MikroTik for monitoring a network topology. The Dude has many features, one of them is notifications. This feature can be combined with Telegram to display information about various problems that exist on the network. This remote monitoring system is very beneficial for reaching the network topology without having to come to the location. Data collection methods used were unstructured interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted by asking the field supervisors at PT. Sekawan Global Komunika, while observation is carried out by doing the assigned task directly. In this study, the author found that the network topology of RSU Siaga Medika Pemalang, which is far from PT. Sekawan Global Komunika can be monitored online, so there is no need to come to the location. One of these conditions is the temperature of the router at the hospital. Extrasely hot temperatures can damage the device. So, notifications are needed quickly, one option is to use Telegram. The combination of The Dude and Telegram can optimize network topology monitoring and increase productivity. Using The Dude and Telegram to monitor the network topology, especially the temperature of the router, is very beneficial and makes work easier. Although it can display router temperature notifications, this research can still be continued by using the RouterOS command in The Dude functions, so you don't have to use probes.
