Abstract
The development of technology in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly. The current era encourages many companies to further expand their business by opening branches in big cities. Especially if between branches have data and networks that must always be connected to each other. Outside there are still many companies that use traditional WANs. This network works by connecting branch offices and the head office using a router via a leased line connection or usually MPLS. Therefore, with the development of technology and company needs, SD-WAN is currently being used. SD-WAN or Software Defined Wide Area Network is a flexible and intelligent network management technology by utilizing software and centralized control functions, so that network administrators or network managers are able to monitor the network centrally and monitor all traffic. SD-WAN technology can also remove the expensive MPLS circuit costs and replace them with other connection options such as broadband and DSL. At the Alfamart H679 Semarang store, a new device has been replaced in the form of a fortigate. The status of the PDA and Tablet is already connected to the fortigate network, and the application on monitor 1 and monitor 2 (cashier) can login or can be used again.
