Abstract

Telecommunication is a process of delivering information over long distances. Information is conveyed to the destination via a point to point radio configuration link network using a ubiquity rocket M5 aerial radio as the transmission medium. PT. Indosat Ooredoo is a telecommunications company. PT Indosat Ooredoo created a subsidiary company called PT Indosat Mega Media. This company is engaged in the business of providing construction services and managing network infrastructure, changing the local copper access network to the radio local network, this replacement is due to the superior radio access local network and the copper access local network. This report will discuss the process of setting the Point to Point configuration for IM2 customers using the rocket m5 radio. The point-to-point radio link design produces a TX / RX Rate of 78 Mbps / 78 Mbps, Transmit CCQ of 86.4% on Access Point radio and 92.6% at radio Station, with a floor noise of -90 dBm on Access Point radio and -100 dBm on the radio station. CCQ is the quality of the link in terms of percentage. So that the good and bad quality of the communication of a radio link depends on how much percentage the CCQ produces. The bigger, the better the resulting throughput. The radio pointing process is very important to the quality of the signal produced, the minimum recommended signal quality is -65 dBm. If it is above -65 dBm, it will affect the amount of throughput and quality of the CCQ. Keywords: Point to Point Configuration, CCQ, Telecommunication
