Abstract

In the current era of growing globalization, many home security cases are found that are increasingly complex and varied, this is what underlies the research conducted, with a security system using Wemos D1 R1 as a microcontroller that includes a wifi module namely ESP8266. This system is designed using the telegram messenger as a notification and input command as well as output results. Then there is the proximity sensor, VC0706 camera that helps to capture images, and the security component solenoid door lock. This system has 2 working features, automatic performance and manual checking, this automatic performance works when the sensor is blocked by an object, then the camera captured picture and sends it via telegram, while for manual it is necessary to input commands /photos via telegram BOT so that the camera can take pictures. To open the door the user must enter the /open command on the bot to unlock the solenoid. In the research that has been carried out there are results from tool testing, namely the average value of the tool's performance automatically from object capture to telegram notification is 16.7 seconds, the average value The average time span of the tool's performance manually is 9,7 seconds, the average value of the doorlock solenoid performance time is 7.6 seconds. The results of testing the quality of data services,delay, packet loss, and throughput, get an average value of 3.2448 seconds for delay, while the average packet loss is 100%, and the average throughput is 301,465 byte/s.
