Abstract
Computer networks are built from several network hardware such as switches, routers, and computers. In conventional networks, the network is usually configured separately for each department and system. Configuration in this way makes several network devices must be installed for each department and system, these network devices cannot be used for different departments and systems. This can cause several problems, including inefficient, requires a lot of money, and administrators have more tasks. Multi-tenants are expected to overcome these problems. Multi-tenant is a technology that can divide a physical network into several logical networks. Multi-tenants can be deployed on an SDN (Software Defined Network) network using the opendaylight controller. This study will analyze the performance of multi-tenant on an SDN network using an opendaylight controller. This study aims to measure the performance of QoS delay, jitter, and throughput from two test scenarios, namely SDN networks with and without using multi-tenants, then compare the results of measuring performance parameters with the TIPHON standard. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the QoS value of an SDN network using multi-tenant is better than an SDN network without using a multi-tenant. This is indicated by a delay value of 0.244 ms, a jitter value of 0.053 ms, and a throughput value of 5351.49 Kbit/s for 1 tenant on a multi-tenant SDN network. On the SDN network without multi-tenant, the delay value is 1.106 ms, the jitter value is 0.408 ms, and the throughput is 5340.80 Kbit/s in 1 tenant. Keyword : Multi-tenant, Software Defined Network, Controller Opendaylight
