Abstract

The problem that is often faced by catfish cultivators is the process of monitoring water quality and feeding when they are not at the pond location or are traveling far. As a result of not being given food at a certain time can inhibit fish development and cause fish death. Likewise, due to uncontrolled water pH can cause fish death. This study aims to design a tool that can monitor water pH and feed fish automatically based on the Internet of Things. With the system built, it can provide a solution in monitoring water quality and regular feeding without having to be on site. The method used is the prototype method where the process in progress always cycles to get the expected results. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, namely feeding using the time setting on the RTC gives a response of < 1 second. Feeding using the Blynk application gives a response of up to 1-2 seconds due to network conditions at the test location. Besides that, the time, the PH value is displayed on the blynk screen on the system and the percentage of the remaining feed appears in real time on the Blynk application and if the pH is < 6.5 and >7 automatically turns the servo to start the water machine.
