Abstract

The business in the shipping service sector is growing year by year. One of the factors causing this development is the growth of online business. Apart from the need for technology, humans also cannot escape the need for buying and selling goods. With these two needs, there is an e-commerce mobile application that can be used. Therefore we need an application that is able to support e-commerce with a courier operational system. This application is very useful for couriers to make it easier to support the logistics business. User experience or User Experience is an important factor to determine whether an information is sufficient or not. The method used in this research is Lean UX which has four cycle phases, Declare Assumptions, Create an MVP, Run an Experiment, and Feedback and Research. Researchers conducted literature studies, observations, interviews, and usability testing with a cognitive walkthrough. Cognitive walkthrough which is a tool to facilitate designers in evaluating prototypes according to the perspective of potential users. Researchers design prototypes and test courier operational applications based on the stages of the Lean UX method, then get improvements and improvements from usability testing, the average task scenario completed by respondents is 96.83%, while respondents who complete all task scenarios are 50%. The results showed that the design of the courier operational application prototype had achieved a good level of user experience.
