Abstract

Security is one of the most important things in life. A key is an object that has an important role in a security system, including the security of a cupboard to lock or open it. However, there is still the possibility of a break-in and it is not known when the incident occurred and there is also no warning to the owner. With this in mind, it is necessary to create a system that is able to provide information related to conditions and can be alerted in the event of a break-in. In this case, a NodeMCU is used as a controller as well as connecting devices with an internet connection, a TCS3200 color sensor that functions as a substitute for conventional keys, a solenoid lock and an MC-38 magnetic sensor as a security in the cupboard, a buzzer as a reminder in case of a break-in and an android application to monitor condition of the lock and provides a warning notification if the lock is broken. The results of the design, the tool can work well and in the process of opening the door, using red as a key. In addition, the MC-38 magnetic sensor can also function properly as a marker in the event of a door burglary. And the Android application on a smartphone is also able to display conditions and send notifications in the event of a door burglary. Based on the measurement of Quality of Services using Wireshark software, the parameters of delay, throughput and packet loss are obtained. Based on the results of the data obtained for the average delay value of 412.81 ms. And for the throughput obtained an average value of 4,553.32 bps. And for packet loss the average value obtained is very good, which is 0%. Keywords: Security, lock, NodeMCU, color sensor, solenoid door lock.
