Abstract

PT Poca Jaringan Sousi has just used Google Drive as a document storage and file sharing. A method of formerly used is to store in a computer so as to cause redundancy data. Using google drive is one of an alternative for the company to ease in file sharing and as efficient a storage . This research have the objective as to analyze about performance cloud storage that is google drive. The measurement of QoS (Quality of Service) parameters are used to standard of Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Networks (TIPON). Testing is done by downloading and uploading each of 3 different file types and file sizes The research represent that QoS results obtained from measurement and calculation using the standard equation TIPON, the largest throughput value is in the download folder, which is 20,603 Mbps. So, the Google Drive requires a larger bandwidth. The largest packet loss value is in document downloads which is 0.7 %. For the largest delay in image downloads is 38.29 ms and the larges Jitter value is in image downloads which is 37.48 ms. Overall, based on the measurement of QoS parameters according to the TIPHON standard carried out on the Google Drive, it can be categorized as very good. From the results, it is expected that this research can be a reference for employees of PT Poca Jaringan Solusi Region Jabo in the use of cloud storage as document storage and file sharing and reduce the workload of employees' computers from storage.
