Abstract

As a fourth generation cellular telecommunications technology, LTE offers high-speed and low-latency data access services. LTE speeds can reach 100 Mbps on the downlink and up to 50 Mbps on the uplink. This feature resulted in many LTE network users. Losari Cirebon This feature resulted in many LTE network users. Losari Cirebon area is one example of the large number of LTE users where the area is the center of the crowd in the border area between West Java and Central Java so that user traffic is quite high. In this study, a Drive Test was conducted to determine the performance of XL Axiata LTE_Losari signal quality in real terms in the field. The Drive Test parameters used by XL Axiata are RSRP (Reference Signal Receive Power) and SINR (Signal to Interference Noise Ratio) using the Physical Tunning scheme as an optimization. Based on the results of the Drive Test that has been carried out, the results are quite good. The results of data collection and optimization are an increase in the RSRP value of 0.6% and an increase in the SINR value of 17.47%. Keywords: LTE, Optimization,Physical Tunning, Drive Test.
