Abstract

The development of computer technology is currently starting to an easier and more efficient system utilization, namely Cloud Computing. There are many solutions offered, one of them is a storage solution. This project using one of the cloud services namely Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Google Cloud Storage (GCS) service which is object-based storage. Using Firebase as a Backend which is automatically integrated with GCP. The FaceCare application aims to identify acne problem on the face. This application has features including health articles, acne identification, solutions offered in the form of skincare and herbal products. Based on these features, the storage design is divided into three parts, namely articles, herbal solutions and product solutions, while the user's personal data will not be stored for security. From the results of the FaceCare application, the total amount of data stored is 488 objects with details of 43 application data objects and 445 additional metadata objects for the dataset, the total data size is 41.7 Mb with a composition of 2.1 Mb application data and 39.6 Mb metadata dataset. The amount of storage is relatively small because the application is in the form of a prototype and still in the development stage. Keywords: Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, Google Cloud Storage, Object Storage, FaceCare Application.
