Abstract
Major countries in the world of technology is more advanced and more make humans life more easier, they are able to give commands through a voice recognition applications. And some of technology is already available in mobile devices as well as being a standard if a new mobile phone will be launched. The development of this technology in Indonesia is still not too big and not much developed by technology companies. Then PT. Telkom Indonesia have an idea to create an application named Suarakita, this application is useful to change the voice to text. For the basic stage of work is making an application to record the sound so that the application can recognize the character voice of Indonesian people. This application uses the method of recording sound with involving several people with different gender and age. The programming language used to create of web applications and design the look of the sound recording application is Java and HTML. On java is used as the main coding that serves to sotre the results of the recorded sound to the server and retrieve the text that will be read by the user to the phone. On HTML is used as the design for the application. Development of application would result in the appearance and the impression that users enjoy while doing the recording.
