Abstract

Mobile VSAT IP is a mobile VSAT communication service using an autopointing system on its antenna. The use of this communication service is for government and banking agencies. An example of the application of this tool in banking institutions is the use of mobile ATM services in rural areas. PT. Lintasarta Medan provides Mobile VSAT IP communication services to meet the needs of various agencies, especially banking. Hub Station of PT. Lintasarta is located in Jatiluhur, Purwakarta Regency. Problems that often occur are weather conditions and other installation problems that include interference between Remote-Hubs. Therefore, it is necessary to measure and analyze the reliability of the system on the Mobile VSAT IP Remote-Hub Network by using parameters of delay, data rate, and service level. The reliability of PT. Mobile VSAT IP communication system. Lintasarta Medan will be obtained by measuring and calculating each parameter. Then later the calculation results of each parameter will be compared with the ITUT standard. The results of this comparison will become a reference for repair and or maintenance of Mobile Vsat IP PT. Lintasarta Medan from a scientific perspective.
