Abstract

Concerns in lending a vehicle to others, whether it is damage after use or in careless operation, this can result in damage or problems to the vehicle. Vehicle owners want to have their car monitored directly via their smartphone. technological developments are getting faster with more and more features that can be used in cars, such as reading ECU data through the OBD-II port. Of these features can be utilized by combining with current technology such as a microcontroller. By adding a can bus shield module that can read data from the ECU then it is processed using Arduino which will be sent to various devices to display the processed information. Creating a monitoring tool that is able to provide information to vehicle owners that can be easily used because the parameters used are fuel level, coolant temperature, engine RPM, vehicle speed, throttle and runtime and is equipped with IoT applications. With the creation of this tool, it can provide information about the condition of the vehicle including monitoring and diagnosing the condition of the vehicle remotely in real time by paying attention to the limits of the value of the provisions of the car manufacturer using the Coolant temperature parameter of 100 degrees Celsius, the value of the Engine RPM 5000, the value of Vehicle speed 100 km / h. , the Throttle value is 50 percent, then the tool will display a text warning on the smartphone via the vehicle owner's checklist application.
