Abstract

Technology that is increasingly developing in this modern era has a lot of influence on people's daily activities. One of them is the use of the website. The website created by the government is one of the uses of technology to help run a government system more effectively and efficiently. This is an implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 3 of 2003. Banyumas Information System in Open Data (Sibandot Banyumas) is an open portal part of the Banyumas Regency government website which provides information on data from all OPDs, vertical agencies, BUMDs and other organizations in Banyumas. The Sibandot website is still in the development stage, the development of Sibandot needs to pay attention to the usability aspect. Usability testing aims to determine whether this website is useful, accepted by users and lasts a long time in its use. In this study, usability testing used the Cognitive Walkthrough method, a task scenario-based method. Data collection is obtained by asking respondents to work on task scenarios related to features on the website. After the analysis was carried out, it was concluded that the average percentage of the respondent's success rate in working on the task scenario was 95%, the average amount of time it took respondents was 327 seconds. The results of recommendations for improvements to the sidebar display on the map menu display, a new search feature on the topic and organization menu, improvements to the search feature on the datasets menu, download logo descriptions, improvements to the display of the about menu to make it easier for users to understand Keywords : usability testing, website, cognitive walkthrough, e-government
