Abstract

Brebes Regency is one of the largest regencies in the Central Java region, with the size of the area, of course there is a lot of tourism in the area, but the lack of tourism promotion many do not know what tours are in the area. These problems make the basis for researchers to make an android mobile-based tourism information system application to support tourism promotion in Brebes Regency. With this android based mobile application it will create structured information. This application is made using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) analysis model. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, the results obtained from the RAD method, namely by creating an android mobile application system that is integrated with google maps and uploaded to the google playstore so that users can easily download this application on their smartphone, then in testing the analysis of user satisfaction using TAM there are 2 t test (partial) and f test (simultaneous), in partial testing only the behavioral intention variable (independent variable) which has an influence on the attitude toward using variable (dependent variable) produces a significance value of 0.005 1.992, then in the simultaneous testing of all independent variables in the study, the effect on the dependent variable resulted in a significance value of 0.000 2.49. Based on these results, it shows that this tourism information system has an influence in helping tourists find out about existing tourism more easily, quickly, and efficiently, so in this case the tourism mobile application is expected to help promote tourism in Brebes Regency.
