Abstract

Online transportation is an innovation in the business world. This service helps users to order a vehicle in the form of a motorbike or car through an application available on a smartphone, then users and drivers can interact with each other through the application. For example, Grab and GoJek offer several other features so that it can support users' daily needs. The Gojek application offers GoFood, GoClean, and many more services. Not only Gojek, Grab also adds a similar feature called GrabFood, GrabExpress and several other features. The purpose of this research is to measure the level of user experience when using online transportation applications for daily needs and to compare there are differences in user experiences when using the Gojek and Grab applications. Usability Metric for user experience is a method used to assist in measuring the level of user satisfaction in using the Gojek and Grab online transportation applications. The reason for using the UMUX method is that it is an ideal method. UMUX scale is shorter than the System Usability Scale (SUS). This research is important because it concerns user satisfaction in using online transportation applications, which also affects the company concerned. It can be concluded from the results of data processing that the average Gojek application user satisfaction is the same as that of the Grab application user.
