Abstract

The oyster mushroom demands have been increasing lately due to the nutritional content is good for health. The terms of oyster mushrooms to grow optimally require temperature between 22-28 º C and humidity between 80-90%. However, the fact that the planting done by farmers almost no one noticed the requirement. It is considered less efficient, in order to obtain an optimal mushroom then is developed monitoring and control system using Arduino Uno microcontroller and DHT22 with IoT concept using MQTT protocol. The system works real time at home oyster mushrooms and if the temperature and humidity are not in accordance with the provisions then the nozzle sprayer will turn on automatically. Measurement results of sensor are displayed on LCD display in mushroom house and on MQTT client. Thermohygrometer digital is used to measure temperature and humidity to know the accuracy of the system. The DHT22 test showed an average error of 0,6% and a humidity of 0,4%. To know the reliability of the test system is conducted by using wireshark software. The results of interval experiments obtained 1,235, 1,254, 1,549, 1,817 and 2,032 second for dummy data and for sensor data 1,241; 1,397; 1,694; 2,056; 2,312 second increased in delay, but decreased in throughput, this was due to delay function on arduino program listings, as well as 0% results obtained for packet loss. The comparison result between LCD and MQTT client during the test in 2 hours with 3 different time of measurement show some result, hence the realibility of divice can be guareed. To increase humidity 1% and decrease 1ºC used 1 nozzle that required 121 and 294 second duration and to raise 1% and decrease 1ºC used 2 nozzle need 33 and 96 second duration. Keywords : Oyster mushroom, , Internet of things, Message Queuing Telemetry Transport, DHT22, Temperature, Humidity.
