Abstract

The electronic media provides many benefits and conveniences. However, there are also many cases and problems related to the misuse of such data and information. One of the cases was related to the misuse of data and information on a customer's ATM card which then the skimming actor withdrew funds from another place. Some of these skimming actors come from abroad. So from the authors designed an animation about "The Importance of Personal Data" which aims to help how important a data is in order to better protect it in the future. With this animation that has been presented to the fathers and mothers of the East Jakarta City of Communication and Information, it is hoped that it can help to maintain personal data better.
