Abstract

Maintenance of high-voltage electricity is something that needs to be considered in the operation of the electric power system, with a good maintenance system, the equipment in the electric power system has a maintained condition and can operate properly. Temperature Monitoring at Terminal Points and Potential Transformers (PT) is carried out to identify and maintain high-voltage electrical equipment at the substation to work properly. Measurement of temperature uses a thermovision flir tool, where it emits infrared rays, then recaptures the radiation from the object being measured and is displayed on a display in the form of thermal imaging, which describes the energy difference emitted by the detected material surface so that the measured temperature varies. The results of temperature measurements on the equipment and at the conductor temperature are in good condition so there is no need for repairs, but check and re-measurement are still carried out periodically to keep the equipment working in a good temperature range and working properly.
