Transportation is used to make it easier for humans to carry out their daily activities. The most widely used public transportation is trains. PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) always meets the needs of the community in providing reliable and sophisticated means of transportation in all aspects of safety, comfort and smoothness of the journey. To support this in a train journey, a Train Dispatcing telecommunication system between the railway control center (PK) and locomotives is needed. Therefore, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) uses the Locomotive Radio system which is used to monitor and communicate the train trips. The data collection method used to obtain system data is by direct observation and interviews from the street vendors. Locomotive Radio has two main modules, namely LRTU (Locomotive Radio Transceiver Unit) and LRCU (Locomotive Radio Control Unit). In addition, the Locomotive Radio has Antenna, Power Supply, and Handset. Locomotive Radio is used to carry out monitoring and communication between locomotives on train travel. Keywords : Telecommunication, Locomotive Radio, Train, Train Dispatching.
