Abstract
The scholarship is payment made to support a student's education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement IT Telkom has an institutional scholarship for students However, the development of an increasingly large campus will impact with the growing number of applicants scholarship that should be selected. The existence of these problems, this study will propose a decision support system to ease the process of selection of scholarship recipients. This research used a combination of FMADM and SAW methods. Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making Method (FMADM) is a method used to find the optimal alternative of a number of alternatives with certain criteria. Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) has the advantage of assigning criteria weight by using fuzzy numbers. The problem of FMADM is the ranking process to obtain the best alternative. There are several methods to overcome the problems on FDAM, one of them is with Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW). Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is a method to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings of each alternative for all criteria. SAW has an equal advantage between criteria and cost for the smallest value and benefits for greater value , it is easier to understand and has a simple calculations. The results of the research show the combination of FMADM and SAW methods to conduct the ranking process so that it can display information in the form of final value that can be used for scholarship selection.
