Abstract

Along with the development of technology in the telecomunications sector, today many companies in the telecomunications sector are strating to use fiber optic technology to provide the best, easy and fast service for the public apart from the increasingly fierce competition. Telecomnication networks using fiber optic transmission media have indeed become an option to create internet service with good quality. But on the other hand, this fiber optic transmission media still has shirtcomings that need to be considered, including attenuation which can affect the quality of the optical fiber itself, forr that it is necessary to have quality control for any development or improvement in fiber optic telecommunication network.
