Abstract
The number of smartphone users using the Global System for Mobile Communication network or commonly abbreviated as GSM has increased, so that the GSM network experiences traffic congestion and decreased performance on the GSM network. Therefore, so that the signal quality obtained is better or more guaranteed, it is necessary to monitor each provider on a regular basis, starting from control, network optimization, and repair and maintenance. To see the quality of the signal in the Pekalongan district, you can do a Drive test. Drive test on voice services using two network technologies, namely GSM and WCDMA networks. Drive test is the process of taking information data or collecting data quickly to see the quality or performance of the network in the area. The drive test was carried out using TEMS Investigation software. TEMS is used for outdoor test drives. Starting from the TEMS version 4 software, it can be used for a test drive in the room (indoor) using the help of a GPS (Global Positioning System) as a navigation and plotting the drive test route that is traversed.
