Abstract

The development of technology in today's global era is so fast. One of them is the development of radio. Radio as a medium of communication is still consistent. Its ability to reach remote places is the main advantage of radio. One of Indonesia's public broadcasters, Radio Republik Indonesia, is also keeping up with the times. Not only heard, radio can also be seen. This innovation comes in the form of the RRI PlayGo streaming service. Listeners not only listen to the announcer present the program but can see what is happening in the broadcast studio. Therefore, in order for radio streaming to run smoothly, it requires the cooperation of various parties such as broadcasters, producers, cameramen, voice actors, switcherman. One part of the production crew is the switcherman or better known as the MCR operator. Switcherman is in charge of monitoring and controlling broadcast equipment in the production studio.
