Abstract
Many users access web will impact on the load on the web server, so it can cause the web to go down. Failover or it can be known as High Availability aims to maintain the availability of services provided by a server. The Senlin service from Openstack comes with the ability to create and manage clusters of the same objects. This report was created to increase the writer's insight and experience in the world of work and to apply the high availability cluster concept to the cloud environment. The data in this report were obtained through company research activities, discussions with company engineers, and through literature review. The high availability test was conducted by turning off the cluster member until the member who were turned off were successfully reactivated and the number of cluster member did not decrease. High availability clusters are built using the Senlin service from OpenStack which has the ability to create and manage clusters. Keywords : High availability, cloud, openstack, senlin
