Abstract

The rapid development of cellular technology where this technology starts from the 1G generation until now has entered the 5th generation technology or better known as 5G. Network operators such as XL, Telkomsel and Indosat will always apply the latest technology to provide the best network quality to all customers. PT.Nexwave is a company engaged in the contractor and consultant company for founding sites or BTS needed in telecommunication systems. The quality of the Long Term Evolution (LTE) network can be improved by analyzing the quality of one operator, especially XL Axiata in this practical work report. The method used in this method is a walk test at Simpur Mall as this data is taken from several parameters used according to the provisions of the XL Axiata provider, namely: Physical Cell Identification (PCI), Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Signal Interference to Noise Ratio (SINR), Evolved Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Number (EARFCN). These four parameters will be analyzed to determine the quality of the 4G network used by XL Axiata at Simpur Mall. The 4G network performance at Simpur Mall can be seen from the quality of each parameter used. Where, the average value for the PCI parameter> 95% results in a coverage percentage of 100.00%. Then, at RSRP> -100 dBm 95% produces very optimal data in a summary range of 100.00%. Then, the data generated for the SINR parameter> 5 dB 80% with a summary range of 100.00%. The data concludes that the 4G network performance in the Simpur Mall building can be categorized as very good. Keywords: LTE, Walk Test, PCI, RSRP, SINR.
