Abstract

The needs of the Indonesian people for communication and information are multiplying so that cellular telecommunication service providers are required to develop to meet consumer needs' diversity, one of which is the increasing need for data communication. Network operators such as Indosat, Telkomsel, and XL always apply the latest technology to provide excellent and optimal network quality. PT NexWave itself is a company engaged in the contractor and consulting company founding sites or BTS needed in the telecommunications system. The cellular network's quality can be improved by analyzing the signal quality, especially XL Axiata, in this practical work report. The increasing number of service providers on the cellular network than service provider operators further strengthen the network and optimize its service and quality. The quality of service to be provided must be by standards that have been set. Research in the Melia Benoa, Bali uses the Terms Investigation application with a walk test method that calculates signal strength based on Rx Level for 2G network, Receive Signal Code Power (RSCP) for 3G network, and Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) for the 4G network. The analysis showed that the Rx Level, Receive Signal Code Power (RSCP), and Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) signal quality in a suitable category. The analysis shows that the overall average Rx Level value is 98,79% shows the standard indicator (right). For an overall average value of RSCP 99,98% shows the standard indicator (right). For an overall average value of RSRP 99,77%, it shows the standard indicator (right). These data show that the signal quality in the Melia Benoa, Bali is excellent and optimal.
