Abstract

Field practical work carried out at PT. Telkom Akses Balige on the 20th July 2020 to September 24, 2020, discussing Design Fiber To The Home (FTTH).There are several stages in the development of the FTTH path which will be designed using software AutoCad, which is the survey stage using Garmin GPS for laying pole markings and ODP (Optical Distribution Point) to be terminated, the Gledek Meansuring Wheel to measure distance. During the field work practice, the team was directed to share Home The Perumnas Pass Cluster that will be designed using AutoCad software, then the team will tidy up the Garmin GPS tagging results in Google Earth and change the pole and odp icon on tagging and providing the main cable line using aerial cable capacity of 24 cores and for brancing using a cable capacity of 12 cores. The distribution of odp to the siahaan housing cluster according to the port and splitter on the type of odp that will be used, development regulations PT.Telkom Indonesia, every odp installation will use the odp closure except at the end the cable will be given an odp pole to differentiate it from other providers and provide a label on each odp.
