Abstract

In LoRa Technology, of course, you have to use a gateway. The gateway on LoRaWAN plays an important role in forwarding the payload sent by the Device / Node to the Network Server. Each device can be connected to any gateway running on the same frequency and connected to one Network Server. For this reason, the gateway needs to be checked for quality in sending data to work properly or not. This test is carried out by referring to the form established by the research team. The process includes 3 stages, the first is setting the program and uploading it to the Arduino LoRa device, the second stage is data collection using TCPdump and the third stage is data analysis. In this analysis, Wireshark software is needed as well as the Whois ip lookup tool application to assist in searching for the ip characteristics contained in the data. In the testing process, there is an interval that becomes a benchmark for sending data whether or not it is good at uploading the program. Interval is the distance between one data and another at the time of sending data. The result of the interval on the serial monitor must match the conditions in the form. In this study, monitoring 2 interfaces, namely eth0 and tun0. From these two interfaces, it is necessary to find out the number of packets sent and the characteristics of the ip scanned on the data. From the tests that have been done, the packages contained in eth0 will be bigger than tun0. Then for the most targeted IP, namely 18.139.137.128 and 192.168.64.50. For future research, it is better if at the time of data collection, use filters for IP scanning so you don't have to manually search them one by one to make it more efficient.
