Abstract
Satellite communication is a type of telecommunications that has a very broad coverage. One of the technologies that uses satellite communication is VSAT Mangoesky. VSAT mangoesky is a broadband internet access service provided to internet users via satellite media. mangoesky is a solution for housing, cafes, villas, industry and companies in rural or sub-urban areas that are not covered by high-speed ADSL, Fiber, or mobile cable services. Mangoesky VSAT communication performance can be built by several factors, one of which is the operational standard the VSAT Mangossky installation procedure itself. The SOP itself consists of various aspects, among others in terms of the condition of the VSAT equipment itself and the quality of qualified technicians in installation. By always following the existing SOP, it is hoped that the communication lines can be served optimally. The method used is divided into two stages, namely the antenna installation process and modem parameter settings. Based on the calculation of the azimuth angle with a value of 61.67⁰ and the elevation angle with a value of 74.70 ⁰ and from the modem display it shows that the Es / No value is 10.4 dB, this value can be categorized properly and finish pointing with the modem status correct satellite.
