Abstract

The development of fiber optic technology is growing rapidly. One of the telecommunications companies in Indonesia that uses optical fiber as a telecommunications technology is PT. Telkom Indonesia. Where in optical fiber services, PT. Telkom Indonesia provides a service called Indihome or Indonesia Digital Home. Indihome is a service that provides triple play or Internet, Usee-TV and the Internet. The development of fiber optic technology is followed by the large number of customer requests for communication networks that require internet service providers to design additional lines in order to meet customer demand according to the number. As is done by PT. Telkom WITEL Purwokerto, which designed the provisioning type 3 which aims to add new distribution channels so that customer internet access requests can be adjusted to the existing distribution channels. provisioning type 3 is a type of provisioning that performs new distribution cable installation, and ODP installation to drop cable installation to customers. In designing the typeprovisioning 3, it will obtain possible location points for new distribution channels. To find out the information data needed in the design of provisioning type 3, 2 websites are used, namely D-Lisa and SIIS (Sales Indihome Information System). The D-Lisa website is used to find out information data on the core ODC. Meanwhile, the SIIS website is used to find information on the closest ODP point from the customer's home point. After provisioning type 3, adesign is also carried out bill of quantity (BOQ)to estimate the cost of designing a new distribution line in accordance with the design of provisioning type 3.
