Abstract

The more human needs are developed, the more cellular technology needs are nowadays. One of them is the development of technology in the cellular field. The technology currently applied to cellular communication systems is Long Term Evolution (LTE). The problem that occurs in data users is generally a weak internet data connection. Weak internet data connections are not only caused by bad signals, but by several factors, one of which is the number of users in one BTS sector and areas that run in tall buildings. Network operators such as H3I, XL, Indosat and Telkomsel always apply the latest technology to provide good and optimal network quality. PT China Comservice Indonesia itself is a company engaged in the field of IT contractors and consultants required in telecommunications systems. To improve the performance of a network, the authors perform physical adjustments in the form of azimuth, mechanical tilt and electric tilt. The first optimization was carried out, starting from analyzing the location of the complaint and the location of the site covering the area, and it was found that there were blocks in sector 1 and sector 3 so it was necessary to make azimuth planning to change the direction of the right sector. The next optimization is done again, by measuring the location up to the parameter values of RSRP, SINR and Throughput. The results obtained in conducting the analysis are that the RSRP value gets an average of 83.03% and as much as 0% for bad conditions, so that the site can be said to be good in terms of RSRP. Then in terms of SINR, the average throughput received by users is 19.10%, so that the site can be said to be bad in terms of SINR. The analysis was carried out again to see the background of the decline in SINR value at the site. The problem that occurs is the occurrence of pilot pollution or interference with other sites which are related to each other, the problem becomes a report to plan back on the site until it gets optimal network performance results. Keywords: Network performance, LTE, Physical Tuning, RSRP, SINR, Throughputh, Drivetest.
