Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has developed rapidly and has revolutionized the way of life, both in terms of communicating, studying, working and so on. With all of these technologies, work and learning processes will be transformed from physical and statistical to digital, mobile and virtual. One of the technologies for communication media is fiber optic technology. Optical cable is now increasingly being used not only in the backbone link, but also for the access link to the customer's home, which is known as the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network. Several telecommunications operators serve their customers using fiber optic technology, with the design and installation of their respective customer networks. Before installing the FTTH network, a good network design is needed before the optical cable is deployed and the device is installed. Network design is needed to be able to estimate and minimize excessive expenses. In this PKL report, FTTH network design will be carried out using Google Earth software and marking the homepass. FTTH network design is done using Google Earth software. Google Earth is used to plan FTTH networks according to conditions in the field. Homepass marking aims to see how many buildings there are around the boundary project in one STO, the marked building dam becomes a customer in the house. Homepass marking is done by accessing the ENOM (Engineering Order Management) application on the link https://enom.telkom.co.id:8449/. Keywords : Fiber To The Home, Marking Homepass, Fiber Optic
