Abstract

IoT (Internet of Thing) network technology is a technology that can simplify a system where almost all performance is done by an automatic working system that has been designed with the system. Apart from IoT there is also a system that supports the occurrence of an IoT system, which is a computer network system, which integrates user to user which is intended to exchange information. In the industrial world it is still used, one of the industries that uses this is PT. West Java International Airport, where the system in the company is used to control and supervise the airport area, in order to always ensure readiness, security, and service provided by the company to employees and also to visitors who come. As in the airport area, there is a surveillance system that uses CCTV technology, then there are fire extinguishers, etc. All of these technologies use a computer network system, either using a LAN cable or using a wireless system. Which is where the two programs have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Keywords: LAN, IoT, Computer Networks.
