Abstract

Currently the use of dictionaries is very necessary in everyday life. In the campus world many foreign words in a course or book of knowledge that uses many foreign words. In the scope of IT Telkom campus, Purwokerto as an ICT campus there are many spellings of technology�based foreign words that are often used, therefore a guide is needed in translating technology�based foreign sentences. In this case IT Campus Purwokerto already has a website-based IT Telkom Purwokerto Dictionary. In it there are many technology-based words, it's just that not many IT academics Telkom Purwokerto uses website-based dictionaries besides that the use of website-based informatics dictionaries is less efficient in its use and the lack of existence of IT Telkom Purwokerto's IT dictionary among the academics of IT Telkom Purwokerto. Therefore an IT Telkom Purwokerto Informatics Dictionary application was designed as an increase in the portability of IT Telkom Purwokerto Informatics dictionary based on a website. After designing IT Telkom's IT informatics dictionary application, Purwokerto uses the Agile and Scrum models as a dynamic design and development method. This dictionary based on book in title Kamus Informatika dan Komputer by Jack Febrian. Besides that in testing the portability and quality of a software application using ISO 9126 standards against the quality of software that is recognized internationally. In ISO 9126 also has the characteristics of functionally, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability. This study also took data from respondents of 200 people with the target data collection is active IT Telkom students Purwokerto. This proves that the application of the IT Telkom Purwokerto Informatics dictionary has fulfilled the objectives of the research in increasing the existence of the IT Telkom Purwokerto Informatics dictionary as well as improving the pre-existing dictionary protability.
