Abstract

Digital data theft very unsettling for social media users, especially users Facebook and Instagram which are the third and fourth highest number of social media users in Indonesia. The browser used to access social media must be guaranteed security analysis browser to find out which browser is the safest to use to access social media is very important. So that social media users don't have to worry about data theft. The browsers that will be analysed are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. This research was conducted using a scenario using live forensics techniques so that the data obtained is still recorded in Random Access Memory (RAM), especially data volatile such as email and passwords. In this study evidence digital such as email, passwords, usernames, and other personal data were obtained using the tool FTK Imager. Keywords: Browser, Facebook, FTK Imager, Instagram, Live Forensics.
