Abstract

Tuna Blind is a special concern for all of us. To help them perform the activity done, the still empty stick that is used will be added an RGB sensor connected to the Aurduino acting as a microcontroller that connects the sensor as a color detector and nearby objects. This final task aims to develop a tool that can be used to detect barriers for the blind. This tool is developed with ATmega 2560 because of the speed in the execution of faster programs and power consumption of low command execution speed. This tool is also in the fireworks by using the RGB sensor because of the stable detector. The problem is often a blind thing to walk on the sidewalk because there is no system to detect objects and colors on the sidewalk. The method used is the Prototype method by embedding (1) The Color Sensor (TCS 3200) as a color detector; (2) Minimum system ATmega2560 as main controller; (3) Motor Vibration serves to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy; (4) Ultrasonic sensors as object detector or objects; (5) GPS Ublox Neo 6m as a navigation system or to know the location of a place;(6) SIM800L module as a celluler telephonecall Media;(7) Buzzer serves as turning electric vibration into sound vibration;(8) Push Button serves as a breaker or electric current connector from current source to electrical load;(9) Relay as a switch. Based on the test results that have been implemented, it can be concluded that the creation of tool Prototype blind aids in the form of a stick using Arduino and RGB sensors for barrier detector for visually impaired this can work well, average error 2%. This stick is able to give warning to users when finding objects that are not yellow and object at a distance of 1 to 300 cm in front ofthe user and send SMS in the formof a link blind location to the blind family.
