Abstract

The incidence of crime in Indonesia in particular is a problem that some citizens often face. With such concerns, citizens should be aware of the importance of security in their neighborhoods especially for their own homes. Based on these issues, it's a prototype home security system Internet of Things that USES wemos d1 asa link to a blynk application. The blynk application enabled the home owner to monitor the home only through the smartphone. The system works using WeMos D1, which contains magnetic switches, pears, buzzer, switches on off, which are linked to already installed blynk applications on a user's smartphone that must connect to an Internet network and provide backup batteries in anticipation of power outings. In addition, the home security system is able to provide a popup that will appear in the user's smartphone if magnetic sensors manage to detect movement and when the pear sensors manage to detect it will be marked by a blinking light on the blynk application. The results of the test results came from a satisfactory or accurate source. Pear sensors and magnetic switches work just as well, the solenoid door lock and buzzer work just as well. So the system can send notification through the blynk application found in the user's smartphone. Which leads to the conclusion that the system works realtime and must be connected to the Internet. Keywords: Blynk Applications, Internet of Things, Notifikasi, Security, Smartphone
