Abstract

Communication technology develops fast so that both English learners and teachers are easy to learn and to teach. Teaching and learning English are flexible for both of them to handle because they can do it not in the class but also outside the class. The questionnaire is given to know learners’ motivation to learn English. Then, the assignment to support learning English in the class is given through Edmodo. The result of learning English is good since the English learners can maximize their opportunity to develop their English. They are able to do some activities outside the class using Edmodo approved by both the teacher and the learners. Learning English becomes interesting and enjoyable. Using Edmodo supports their motivation to learn English since they cannot escape from their gadget. Their gadget becomes one of learning sources that finally makes them motivated.
