Abstract

The development of software technology today is very rapid, every company or business unit at this time using software that can help solve problems and jobs. Fauzan motor workshop wants to apply the system to help the problems that are in the nature such as the number of uncontrolled goods data and the reporting that is still less clear based on the problems that exist then this research makes the information system by analyzing the most methods used. Based on literature studies and previous research methods approaching on the development of this workshop system is Waterfall and RAD method. In the Waterfall method have a clear framework in the groove making process while the RAD method on making the system more involving the user in the making. In comparison the two methods will get the results by using the framework agile method with time and cost parameters. For the time analysis obtained from the analysis using WBS and for cost analysis used ROI analysis. The results obtained in this study for the analysis of time and cost using WBS and ROI is superior to the RAD method and seen from the agile point of view is superior to the RAD method.
