Abstract

In this study, designing an automatic gateway system based on Android IoT. For the main microcontroller in this study using arduino uno and sending media using nodemcu, for sensors using the KY-008 Laser sensor where this sensor is used to detect gates opened and closed by other people with a value of 1 where in that condition it will send notifications to the smartphone and the alarm will turn on then there is an Adxl335 accelerometer sensor used to measure the shift of the gate by utilizing the X-axis value, where when the X-axis value exceeds the value specified in the program with the ADC value 350 then the alarm will sound, on the LCD will also display a notification "Burglar ", And the latter will send notifications to the smartphone. In QoS testing conducted at a distance of 1-10 meters, it can send data and there is no loss with a packet loss value of 0%, it can be concluded that the nodemcu is still suitable for use, then in this study the sensor can work well and can be detected if the gate is opened or closed and Adxl 335 sensor can detect the gate shift when the door is opened or closed then the ADC value will increase by more than 350 with an average value of delay when testing the gate opening 4.28 seconds and the average value of delay sending data to smartphones is 6.99 seconds apart from sending the notification also the alarm will sound.
