Abstract
In the development of this time the use of electricity is very important and a major need in life. With the development of technology, industry, and increasing demand for electrical energy, good supply and distribution are needed. In the part of the electrical energy network, this section works to maintain the distribution of electrical energy, one part of its maintenance that is useful to protect from the presence of disturbances that are both temporary and temporary disturbances. For this reason, maintenance is needed so that the components used for SCADA equipment can be used properly. Data collection by practicum methods, interviews, and discussions to discuss the material to be carried out. Interviews were conducted at the time of the field with direct informants and carried out together with the practicum, namely the execution of keypoint maintenance. Data In this activity we will discuss about how to maintain keypoint on the recloser as an automatic overcurrent circuit breaker which will be resolved if the interruption can occur so that it can communicate or perform remote automatically by the dispatcher. Keypoint itself is a box where various devices that exist as support for automatic remote connected to the server are forwarded to the dispatcher area. The use of SCADA in the operation in the field of electric power services is needed because it can help the work easily, time efficient and fast. In addition, the maintenance process especially keypoint is very important for SCADA systems so that the tool can be used properly. Keywords: Electrical Energy, Keypoint, Recloser
