Abstract
The rapid development of information technology has resulted in the need for workers who have mastered the field of computer systems that are increasing. Technological advances have provided answers to information needs, increasingly sophisticated computers that make it possible to obtain information quickly, precisely and accurately. PT. Telkom is one of the companies engaged in the telecommunications sector that has used a lot of information technology in its operations such as the implementation of computer networks in the process of sending information between one user to another and at this time the transmission media is only fiber optic cable that can meet the needs The fiber optic cable is capable of serving high speed data transfers in a relatively short time and small and light physical forms. FTTH is the center of the provider of user expertise by using optical fiber as the medium of delivery. With the FTTH service of PT Telkom issuing indihome services, Indihome is a broadband service product that accesses the internet using technology that supports broadband. In the case of important services such as attenuation due to attenuation is the decrease in signal voltage level received due to the influence of media characteristics, the installation process of the indihome network to the customer's home must be checked before the resulting attenuation, good attenuation for installation of indihome ranges from 14-25 dbm.
