Abstract

The system of distribution network is a means to transmit electric energy from the plant to the customer. Distribution network used to distribute the flow of electrical energy often experienced disturbance to stream supplay electric power to consumers. In this case the distribution network must use a Recloser protection equipment that can secure a smooth stream supplay electricity. SCADA system consists of three components, namely control center, your existing RTU in substations and the location of the communication lines connecting the control center to the RTU. SCADA system on power grid requires Remote Terminal Unit that is mounted on the keypoint at Center of power plant and Substation. RTU is the direct supervisor of the unit and the unit managing the operations of the control center so that RTU allows Master Stastion collect data and carry out the control. In the operation of the keypoint often fail which causes SCADA keypoint can not be operated normally, the most frequent of which is the problem of the Master to the Modem or Modem to Fail, RTU Fail. Based on data retrieval from a real time report of the keypoint PT. PLN Purwokerto in Central Java and YOGYAKARTA APD area during July 2018 Purwokerto showed overall SCADA keypoint can be operated normally. However 0049% of the total observations still fail which causes the keypoint SCADA can not be operated normally, it caused trouble Master to Modem Fail, or Modem. Keyword : Keypoint, SCADA
