Abstract

The development of communication and information technology, especially in computer network technology both intranet and internet, using cable or wireless. Therefore, a sophisticated computer network system is demanded. Server needs become a necessity, which is very necessary in a network. However, a network cannot work properly, sooner or later the network will experience interference on both the server and other devices on a network. In this case to find out the network condition, network monitoring is needed, but an administrator does not work 24 hours in front of the computer to always know if the network is experiencing interference. Therefore to monitor the network special software is needed, namely Zabbix. The results obtained from the use of network monitoring software is monitoring services performed by each host or IP address. If a network error is detected, then the notification will be sent to the network administrator, then the network administrator will be able to repair the network damage.
