Abstract

The use of LPG gas among the community has increased along with the intensification of the BBM to Gas LPG conversion program, making it easier for cooking cooking activities and expediting the MSME business. Apart from its easy use, LPG gas has a danger if it is not anticipated. This happens due to gas leakage. The cause of gas leaks can be due to leaks in hoses, tubes, or regulators that are not installed properly, can also be from gas cylinders that have been physically damaged. Therefore made a tool that can detect gas leaks. The LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) leak detection system is a tool that serves to anticipate the safety of a gas leak hazard that can cause an explosion that harms lives and property. In this final project explains how to make a system for detecting LPG gas. The sensor used is an MQ-2 sensor that is connected to the ESP8266 nodemcu device which is sent to firebase and to the android application. With a ADC threshold of 200, if the sensor value is more than 200, the buffer and led will light up. Testing the delivery time obtained at 0.98 seconds.
