Abstract
In the development of increasingly rapid communication technology, the transmission media is divided into two, namely wired and wireless. The rapid development of telecommunications also influences the need for people to access the Internet. To be able to enjoy the internet, we need an integrated telecommunications network, fiber access network for example. Fiber access network uses fiber optic cable as its communication media, has bandwidth up to 100Mbps. However, the large bandwidth owned by fiber topics also has disadvantages such as cracks due to pressure because optical fibers are made of silica fiber. Such problems will cause disruption to the network, therefore routine maintenance is needed. This report was prepared with a view to knowing the location and causes of disturbances experienced by customers. Interference in fiber optic access network owned by PT. Telkom, monitored through several information system applications such as NOSS-A which functions for ticketing orders and progress reports, Cacti functions to monitor Telkom's active devices, etc. Key word : Fiber Optic, FTTx.
